The Digital Infrastructure for Verifiable Open Credentialing (DIVOC), an initiative by eGov Foundation, has been accepted as a Digital Square Global Goods software suite. This marks a significant achievement for the DIVOC project, which aims to develop a secure and interoperable digital infrastructure for credentialing and verification of COVID-19 test results, vaccination records, and other health-related data globally. DIVOC is also a DPGA Certified Digital Public Good.
DIVOC leverages blockchain technology to enable individuals to own and control their health data while authorized organizations can access and verify the data in a secure and efficient manner. Being accepted as a Digital Square Global Goods software suite indicates that DIVOC has undergone rigorous evaluation and testing to ensure it meets high standards of quality, interoperability, and security.
As a result of this approval, DIVOC is now eligible for procurement by international development agencies, governments, and other organizations working in global health. This initiative will improve health outcomes and strengthen health systems in low- and middle-income countries.
The approval of DIVOC as a Digital Square Global Goods software suite is a significant milestone and we look forward to working with Digital Square and other partners to advance digital health solutions & improve global health outcomes.
